Wendy's Bag

This is a little bag I made for my other lovely papercrafting friend, Wendy. The bag was cut on my KNK Maxx from a cutting file that my talented friend, Helen, made. It has been cut from a sheet of 12 x 12 Kaiser DP.  It is very clever the way it goes together...no adhesive...just a tab that slides into a slot on the back to hold it closed. You simply cut and score, then fold...and presto...you have a lovely little gift bag :) I took it with me when I went to stay with Helen, to decorate and give to Wendy.

Helen has a PDF file available for anyone who would like a template to hand cut an A4 size sheet. Go to her blog HERE and email her with a request for the file and she will send it to you :) And you can see some of the bags she made HERE. They are soooo cute!!

The F for friends and the flowers were stamped using the new SU set, Vintage Vogue, from the Autumn/Winter mini catalogue. I LOVE this set and am going to get it and the matching wheel in my next SU order. I think it will be very versatile. The F was stamped with Soft Suede...a new in colour in the mini...the large flower with Always Artichoke and the small flower with River Rock. All images were cut out and mounted with dimensional dots. Dimensional glaze was used on the F and the flowers were spritzed with Glimmer Mist and finished with a Kaiser pearl in the centre. Some organza ribbon from Helen's stash adds the finishing touch :)
Thanks Helen, for being a wonderfully talented friend and sharing with me...big HUGS xxx

I am entering this in the JAI challenge #11 this week, which is JUST ADD INK!!! A fairly easy ask for all us papercrafters lol :)

I love what you have done with this bag Lynne. Again, the photo doesn't do it justice, it is even prettier IRL!
I need to make me some of those shimmery flowers!!
Big hugs :)
