Loralei Knitter

Happy Friday...it's time for another challenge at our Copic/Promarker group over at The Outlawz. Our theme this week is Anything Goes...a nice easy one, so hope you'll come on over and play along with us.

I've made another hanger....still have lots more ideas for these so you'll probably be seeing a bit of a procession of them lol

This is another Loralei stamp...am loving colouring these, they're so much fun :)  Hubby made the hanger for me and I decorated it and printed the wording before popping Loralei up on foam dots. The little knitting sample has been done with fine yarn on toothpicks!! Yes, I know I'm mad but I wanted a little sample in the corner and this was the only way I could think of getting one :)  It's the fiddliest bit of knitting I've ever done! To finish the 'needles' off, I added the beads to look like the needle ends.

Thanks for looking....have a wonderful day :)

Jen's Cute Chef

Don't fall off your chairs...I'm actually posting another project for the week lol  I wanted to play in the CDAC Free Digi Challenge this month and I'm running out of time!! I couldn't resist JenLee's very cute chef and knew straight away what I wanted to do with him :)  Thanks Jen for giving us such a cute freebie to play with *waving*

I've made ANOTHER hanger.....

Isn't he gorgeous! The hanger was made by hubby...the wording printed onto the DP before adhering to the wood...and the flour and egg stickers are ancient CM from my stash :) The cute chef has been cut out and popped up on dots.

Miracle Grow

Hello everyone....It's Friday AGAIN!! They are coming around far too fast for my liking lately. That "C" word is going to be upon us before we know it...shudder...and I probably won't be organised :(

Anyhow, enough panic....it's time for a new challenge at The Outlawz Copic/Promarker group. This week our theme is 'How Does Your Garden Grow'....interpret this as you like....anything to do with gardens will be great :)

And while I'm talking about The Outlawz, we are nearly at 1000 members....WOWSERS...how exciting is that. There's going to be a HUGE party when we get there, so if you haven't joined yet, get on over there and join in the fun. Help us to reach 1000 so we can start the partying....there'll be LOTS of fabulous prizes to win....so what are you waiting for....click HERE to hop on over there!!

Here's my card....at last lol:

My inspiration for the layout of this card comes from VICKY. I love Vicky's cards...they are always so clean & fresh looking and the image panel is always the feature. The papers are thanks to Vicky also lol  They come from Pink Petticoat and are all digi. I discovered Pink Petticoat when I started following Vicky's blog....she's a great enabler :) The layout is one that Vicky used a while back. I filed it away for future reference.  Thanks for being so inspiring Vicky.

The cute image is from Cheryl Seslar. I have a few of her sets and they're lovely to colour. Like I've said before, I'm a sucker for all things cute!!

Toadally Love You

Happy Friday everyone :)  It's time for our new Copic/Promarker challenge at The Outlawz. Our theme this week is to Colour an Animal...any animal will do! :)

I chose to colour one of Anne Fenton's free cute froggy digis....available at The Outlawz. Look for the Freebies tab on the top menu bar. Both Anne & Sandi are lovely DTeamies and are very talented ladies. They very generously offer their art for us to use for FREE, so go check out the freebies tab and get yourself some cute digis!

Here's my card:

I've kept it fairly simple. The DP is a freebie that came with my favourite card magazine, Australian Simply Cards. The oval panels have been cut using my KNK Maxx and then embossed as per Penny Duncan's instructions for her Shaplie files. (You can find Penny's link on my sidebar) The 'button & ribbon' is an embellie from the same free paper collection. I made a circle mat for the button and popped the whole thing up on foam dots. The image panel has also been popped up on dots.

Loads of Love

Hello everyone...my-oh-my, how the weeks are flying by!! It's Friday again and time for a new challenge at our Copic/Promarker group over at The Outlawz. Our theme this week is to use the Colours of Your Country's Flag. I think we'll have a lot of red, white & blue entries this week lol  Being an Aussie, these are the colours of our flag too :)

I had a hard time deciding what to do for this challenge. I think my mojo is still on that boat, floating around having a holiday without me...BAD mojo...come home immediately or sooner! I NEED you!! And on top of that hubby decided to share his flu/cold with me, so I've been feeling a bit poorly :( Oh well, hopefully I'll be over it soon. Onto my card....

I've used the truck and heart stack from the SU set Loads of Love. A 'real' stamp for a change lol I love this set, it was one of the first sets I bought from SU :) It is so versatile, I really should use it more often! I've kept the whole card simple...the red, white & blue is such a clean, fresh combo. The heart stack has been cut out and layered on the truck to give a little dimension, along with glazing and glittering the hearts.
