...and put him on this card LOL This looks just like my hubby and our Beagle boy, Barney. The only difference is that Barney is usually on hubby's lap, not the floor...but he does love to lie upside down like this :)
Anyhow...onto the reason for this post :) It's time for another challenge at
The Outlawz Copic/Promarker group. The challenge this week is to show us your 'Male' themed projects. I don't find male projects as easy as girly ones...not quite right to put bling & pretty things on for the boys :)
Here's my card:
I've had this image from S2G for a long time, wanting to use it on something for my hubby, but hadn't gotten around to it. Our challenge this week gave me the perfect opportunity to make a Father's Day card for my DD and grandbabies to give to hubby. Father's Day here in Australia is the first Sunday in September...I'm being SOOOO organised lately lol...wonder how long it's going to last??!!
I wanted it to look as similar to our lounge as possible so removed the check pattern from the recliner and coloured it as close as possible to the colour of our recliners...ours are a bit more on the green side but I couldn't quite match it with the Copics. Then I made a skirting board and floorboards and coloured the wall as close to our wall colour as I could manage. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the result!!
My lovely, but very cheeky friend, Helen said it looked like hubby is lying on the chair starkers as you can't see any clothes...bwaahaahaahaa...she then suggested that maybe it's summer and he has stubbies (shorts) and a t-shirt on...cracked me up no-end :)
