Scary Nurse :)

Hellooooooooooooo......anyone there?  It's been soooo long since I posted anything that I'm sure you've all given up in despair of ever seeing me again lol  I did say I'd come back and let you know what my new venture is, just haven't had a minute to scratch myself. I've only managed to colour 2 cards in the last 4 months and I've missed it so much. Things aren't likely to improve much in that department either for some time as life is very busy and seems to be getting busier by the day!

First things first.........my new venture is Special Occasion Stationery (mainly wedding stationery at this stage). I finally have my website up and running, although there's still a bit to get done and loaded. I've already had a few orders, which is one of the reasons I haven't been around here.  So far the feedback has been good, so that's heartening, and so far I'm enjoying the work. Well, I guess it's a bit like playing really lol  As long as I dont get a Bridezilla from Hell, I think I'll continue to enjoy it :) :) :)
Here's a link to the site for anyone that's interested in having a look: Invitation Avenue

Now, onto my card.....it felt a bit weird colouring.....I'm a bit rusty, but I did enjoy it :)

A friend of ours had a heart attack this week....scary stuff! Luckily his wife got him straight to the hospital and they sent him to theatre to put a stent in. He's home and okay now, just has to rest up for a while....hence the "Prescription" on the card lol  I was determined to find some time to make him a card...hopefully it will give him a laugh :)  (If you click on the photo to enlarge you can read the prescription I made up for him)

I made the background in MMS then matted it on SU Not Quite Navy. The card base is a retired SU blue. The papers and elements are digi from Peppermint Creative and the scary nurse is a digi stamp from Just Inklined.....I've coloured her with Copics, then fussy cut & popped her up on foam dots. Sorry but no Copic colours this time...just wanted to get it done and find time to blog it!!

I've entered this into the Copic/Promarker challenge at The Outlawz.....Anything Goes
I should really be doing calendar pages as I'm now waaaay behind :(  Oh dear!!

Don't know when I'll get back again..........thanks for looking and have a wonderful day :)
