Hello everyone....I made a momentous decision the other day to have a break from papercrafting. Yes, shocking I know! I've had quite a stressful, difficult year so far and am feeling fairly wrung-out. On top of that my mojo has taken a BIG hike and I'm finding it hard to get inspired to make anything. It seems to have gone on an extended holiday :( I don't need to be forcing myself to make things, so have decided to leave it all alone for a while, in the hope that my mojo will come back and I'll be inspired to create with paper again. I'm finding it very sad to think I might be gone for some time but am trying to be sensible about it!! I love my blog and will miss my blog buddies. I'll come visit your blogs as I get the chance. You all do amazing things and I love seeing your beautiful creations.
I've stepped down from my design team at The Squirrel & The Fox. The girls there have been brilliant and very understanding. I've thoroughly enjoyed working with them and will miss being on the team. Thank you so much to Linda & Tracey for giving me the opportunity to be on your team.
I'm not sure when I'll be back on here.....could be next week, next month or next year!! If inspiration hits and I make something, you'll see it here.
For now, I'm happily sewing doll's clothes for my little granddaughters' dolls, that I've bought them for their birthdays this year. I'm so happy to be sewing again as I have hardly touched my beautiful machine since finding papercraft. I'm thinking about starting a new blog, dedicated to the doll sewing. I think my granddaughters would like that :) If I do that I'll come and post about it on here.
So, for now, 'bye to all my lovely friends and followers. You've enriched my life in ways you can't imagine! Thanks for your friendship and hope to be back soon to say hello.
Hugs
Lynne xx

I know where you're coming from:). Enjoy your sewing and we'll try and catch up maybe in July? Why does life have to be so busy and stressful? I'm ready for a sea change.
I will miss you, Lynne, but I can certainly understand that real-life stress and creativity don't always work well together. Enjoy your sewing projects and hopefully, one day you will be inspired to craft with paper again. Big hugs and take care of yourself!
I will miss you Lynn. I so understand how life gets in the way of our hobbies. Enjoy sewing for your granddaughters and relax. I love your work so do hope your mojo eventually comes back.
Awwww, sorry you're having a rough time. I think we all go through waves of wanting to create and then wanting to step back for a while; I do anyway. Looking forward to seeing the next creative direction that life takes you. Be Well. :)
Hi Lynne, this is something we do for fun, if they are not fun anymore then we should step back a bit. You are an amazing crafter, you learnt and improved so much since you started papercrafting! it takes just a look at your blog to see how much heart you put in everything you do. I´ll be looking forward for updates in all creative venues you take, we creative people can not stop creating, right? :-) A big hug to you my dear far far away friend
We will miss you at TSTF, but I completely understand where you are coming from. My mojo disappeared on me for a while there too, and I had to take a step back for a bit. I hope that after a rest you will return with gusto to crafting.. and you know where to find us. :)
Much love,
Tracey
I will miss you bunches and bunches but I totally understand. Sometimes I feel so bogged down with projects that it just takes all the fun out and I ask myself why I'm doing it. If your crafty self want to sew, then let it sew and I would love to see what you make. Lets not lose touch. Hugs!
We will miss you Lynne at TSTF but I totally understand how you feel. I wish you all the best!
Hugs,
Lisa xx

Hi Lynne,
Just wanted to say hello. I bet your sewing is going great. I remember making Samantha Parkington clothes for my daughter back in the late '80's. I loved it too! I am sure your grandaughter is loving all the things you are making for her dolls. Hope to see you post some pictures of the clothes when you get back to blogging. In the meantime enjoy your break. Once I get my craft supplies unpacked if I come across any doll clothes patterns I will give you a shout out.
Love,
Lysa
