Michelle Perkett Challenge #10
This is my entry in this week's challenge at Michelle Perkett's group on Paper Craft Planet. This is Michelle's image called "Summer". The challenge this week was to make an interesting fold card rather than a flat card. A few of us chose to make tri-shutters...they are so much fun to decorate and really easy to make.
I kept her simple because I wanted her to be very elegant...and elegant and me don't usually figure in the same sentence lol :)
I coloured the image with Copics and then cut her out as I wanted the background paper to show through...a bit tricky on the inside bits!! I like to leave the inside centre panel plain for a handwritten sentiment when I make tri-shutter cards.
The papers are from a CM pack called Inspiration, which I've had in my stash for a while. I decided that since I'm not scrapbooking (and not likely to for some time!) I'd make use of some of the stash I've accumulated :) I think I'm guilty of having an addiction to paper!
