Here is my DT contribution to the Michelle Perkett Studio challenge #17. The challenge this week is to use pale pink, fuchsia, orange and green. I decided to make another mirror...a larger one this time...even though they are a pain to photograph!! And this one seems to be a bit blurry for some reason...sorry about that!! I just didn't have time to do another one.
The 41cm mirror is a Kaiser wood product, painted with copper metallic craft paint. The image is Just Breathe digital stamp from Michelle Perkett Studio, printed on Saxton 200 and coloured with Copics. The flowers are taken from the image, coloured, cut out individually and then grouped together on the frame, with some raised on dimensional dots. I went over the mermaid's tail with clear glitter pen to highlight...and used glitter pen to highlight her hair. I used glitter glue on the fuchsia flowers and diamnod glitter on the pale pink flowers. The bubbles on the glass and frame are Kaiser pale blue droplets. I cut the caption from vinyl with my KNK Maxx.
I love this image of Michelle's...well actually I love ALL of Michelle's images!...I can't help but relax when I look at her :) Her name is Serenity...I think it suits her very well!
